At WILD we’re focused on keeping the momentum going around advancing women’s leadership, equity, diversity and inclusion in the global development sector. 

While the date of our in-person annual forum has been pushed out to October 26 (due to the Corona virus), we invite you to join us for these virtual opportunities to connect, learn and grow, May 5 - 7.

Please note: During the Women in Global Development Leadership Forum on-line series this week, free sessions are open to anyone to sign up at no cost on a first come, first-serve basis. (Maximum 1000 people).

Exclusive sessions are only open to registrants of the 2020 Women in Global Development Forum, taking place October 26. Paid registrants of this Forum will automatically receive a link to all sessions. Scaling Gender Parity Through Crisis

Session Description

Times of economic crisis often signal trouble for women and people of color in all sectors and all parts of the world.  This particular crisis, which has at its core, isolation and virtual communication, rather than face to face communication and travel, has created an entirely new opportunity for women and people of color that did not exist pre-Covid-19. Virtual work can actually level the playing field for many that were formerly excluded, but only if we recognize and sustain the momentum.  Denise Pirrotti Hummel, CEO of Lead Inclusively, Inc., has spent her career creating inclusion methodology actually has the business impact of gender and racial equity. She will now share that methodology and talk about how we will benefit through this crisis and beyond.  When you attend this session, you will learn how to scale inclusion through the technology of behavior change and habit formation so that the progress we make now will be sustainable for decades to come.
